Few vehicles inspire as much loyalty and admiration as the Chevy Camaro. Many car enthusiasts in fact believe that the 1967 and 1968 Camaros were among the best cars ever made, appearance and performance-wise - and I won't argue with that statement. I agree!

Because the Chevy Camaro will be back in production soon, I'm glad that John Gunnell decided to gather together the stories and photos of the car's history in The Story of Camaro. I especially like the amount of detail provided about each model.

This book would be ideal for people wanting an overview of the history of the Chevy Camaro, for "pony car fans" (champions of affordable compact cars that are sporty with powerful performance potential), for "muscle car fans," and for people seeking more technical details about the Camaro engines and performance potential.

It's amazing how the Camaro is such a big part of American pop culture, mentioned in movies, books and songs, and we look forward to seeing its return. Maybe John Gunnell could write a sequel to The Story of Camaro!

I bought this book for my boyfriend, who absolutely loves cars, esspecially Camaro's. He is building a 1970 Camaro and I wanted to get him something that would mean something to him. I did not want a "how to" book because he allready knows how to do everything. This book lets him enjoy the car he loves with information on the history, style, and engines of the car. He loved it!
