The examples shown in this book are rusty as hell and this goes a long way in giving you the confidence to try the skills shown in bringing them back to life. As far as diy bodywork books go this is the best on the topic so far. I can actually afford all the tools used in this book and that is one major reason why it gets 5 stars.
Almost unique book.

This book details techniques being replaced by more modern tools. These superior methods should not be forgotten. They will be applied to the restoration of my 73 Cuda.

It is unfortunate that I am forced to study pictures of these little English toy cars while preparing to build a Hemicuda restomod. I think my engine choices are bigger than the entire cars featured in this book. What are you going to do?

Jokes aside- great book.

My fiance is currently restoring a '36 Ford. I got him this book and he said it's perfect for the body work projects he has ahead of him. =)

Excellent book clearly written instruction for someone considering extensive metal restoration on a Classice Car Body. Focussed on metal work, I will also buy a book by this author on painting if available when i progress to the painting stage. Well worth the money i'd be happy to answer any specific questions on [...]. Buy without hesitation!

An adequate overview of car bodywork - but not an authoritative, or exhaustive treatise on the subject. A reasonable starting point, but don't just read this and then charge off and begin a full-scale body restoration on your expensive classic car.
