Product Description: Hitting Mat: Tee Fairway Rough. Practice all your shots in the right lies. The Launch Pad lets you hit off the tee, on the fairway, or out of the rough. Practice driving, iron shots, and short game.

Amazon.com Product Description: Practice all your shots in a variety of lies with the SKLZ Rick Smith Launch Pad all-purpose hitting mat. The mat offers several hitting surfaces: a trio of tees for hitting with oversized drivers, fairway woods, or irons, a fairway surface that simulates the feel of short grass, and a rough surface that mimics the conditions of swinging through a tough lie.

The Launch Pad offers 3 tees for drivers, woods, and irons.

Includes rough surface for practicing a tough lie.
As a result, you can practice your drives, iron shots, and short game just about anywhere, provided you have enough room to swing a club. The heavy-duty, non-slip rubber mat measures 1 by 2 feet, with a realistic grass surface that simulates a genuine golf course feel.

Great idea, not well made

I don't really have anything new to add here that hasn't already been said. The concept of this product is awesome. Two different levels of turf you can use to practice driving and chipping in a relatively compact package. The problem, as others have said, is that the product is poorly made. It only took a few chip shots before the turf began to separate from the mat. I would be surprised if this fact was not already known by the manufacturer - unless they don't test their own products before releasing to market. It is such an obvious flaw in the design.
Don't buy this.

The turf separated from the rubber backing after about 100 balls hit. Cheap glue is my guess. Waste of money.
Practice hitting mat.

The mat arrived in excellent condition. I appreciated the two practice tees of differing length. Unfortunately, hitting balls off of the mat surface leaves a green residue on the clubs that takes some scrubbing to remove.

good product, if hitting for less than a month, easy to tear and "grass" easy to come off, all glued product
Does the job

Maybe the poor reviewers received "lemons" but the one I have is great! It serves its purpose well and has helped me keep my sanity by allowing me to practice my swing inside during the snow storms. The two tees (of different height) also help simulate tee shots with your driver and irons.
