The Cruiser was a long wheelbase Lark; what Studebaker called a limosette; top engine, top trim.
This Cruiser was sold new out of Tuckahoe Motors in New York state.
I bought it from the grandson of the original owner after it took a nosedive in to a sinkhole in Binghampton, NY.
Did a frame on restoration and used it as a daily driver for a dozen years. Road salt took its toll and, when I put it in the shop for a true restoration, I decided my efforts would be better directed to my '53 Commander Starlight.
The 289 V-8 lives on in my '53 and the remainder of the vehicle has contributed to the resurrection of dozens of other Studebakers.
